BROMAGES

BROMAGES

From the 1950's until the late 80's, Bromages were well recognised for their fuel runs for Shell out of Melbourne servicing rural and interstate areas. They were a daily sight in the Riverina area.

Joe Bromage was a big Mack lover and was responsible for buying the first Aussie made Mack Superliner. His fleet was largely made up of Superliners and Valueliners.

In 1989 the business was bought by Cootes and they sold off most of the V8's in favour of the more economical 6ers.

The pictured truck was a daily on the Newport to West Wyalong run and may have been driven by John Harper.
