Wow! Hasn't this month started with a big bang! There's so much on that I don't know where to start other than to say from Tassie to Queensland there is no shortage and New Zealand also has a truck gig on at Kaponga. (Just a heads up, if you can't get to a truck show, tune into Round 4 of the Supertruck series on Fox, Kayo or SBS).
Desert Dog will be at Brisbane Convoy 4 Kids and that is bound to be a big one. Without even starting, over $200K has already been raised in the lead truck bid.
Wherever you see trucks, have a great time, the weather is a bit all over the place, so make sure you're prepared for the lot. Plenty of water, a hat and for some, a rain coat or umbrella!

CLARENCE MILITARY MUSTER - Clarence Town (Saturday)
This is the tenth anniversary of this event and the focus is on amphibious military vehicles - a curious vehicle for many of us. Lots to see and do and a great way to support our veteran community.

The final round of the Supertrucks for this year and hopefully they'll be back again in 2026. It's undeniable that the return of the sport in Australia has been a huge hit. This weekend we're back at Winton for the racing and a truck show.

BRISBANE CONVOY 4 KIDS - Redcliffe (Saturday)
Convoy 4 Kids is a huge event in truck shows in Brisbane. The convoy travels from Larapinta to Redcliffe and the celebration is huge. Lots to do for the whole family and some amazing trucks polish up for the event. Funds go to Hummingbird House

COBARGO CARS, TRUCKS & BIKES - (Saturday)
Held every 2 years and run by the Far South Coast Classics Car Club, this event will raise money for the local scout group and Nardy House, a respite centre for disabled adults and children. A good old style rural event that includes a swap meet.

I think this one is part of the Ulverstone Thank You Show which is on the same day and has family activities as well as the truck show. Open to all trucks, cars and utes, the truck show has a soecial emphasis on Kenworths this year.

LAKE GOLDSMITH STEAM & VINTAGE RALLY - (Saturday & Sunday)
this could be one of the last celebrations of 100 years of Caterpillar. we've seen a couple and highly recommend you get down for a look. This is the 126th rally for Lake Goldsmith and they're turning it on. They have 65 sheds full of machines - steam, oil... everything from earthmoving equipment to motobikes.
