A big weekend coming up, especially with the first Mack Musters for the year at Western Australia's Quarry Farm and Kyabram Vic.
Rain continues to dominate some areas of the country and while we haven't had a lot of cancellations so far, but unfortunately this weekend the Goomeri Show and Truck Show has been postponed due to weather damage to the show grounds a couple of weeks ago. Keep your eyes on our FaceBook page for a new date coming up.
Also out of the box this weekend is a Cent Sale to raise money for Mackay's Convoy for Kids later in the year. Before I came to Queensland I'd never heard of a Cent Sale but they are huge in the Mackay area. Like a big raffle only you buy a heap of tickets and allocate them to the prizes you'd actually like to win.
Anyway, wherever you see trucks this weekend, have a great time, wear a hat, and say hydrated. If you see a cool truck you can always post it in the comments of one of our Facebook posts - we love to see your choices there.
Posters are below and our cover photo was taken by Desert Dog and we can't even remember where. Maybe the Pittsworth Christmas Truck Show last year, or maybe Wondai Truck Show in 2024.
