The big one for this week is the Alexandra Truck Show in Victoria. Always huge, always a great display of amazing trucks and a huge influx of people into town the the spectacle. There is a memorial service on Saturday and a convoy on Friday.
If you can't make it to this one, there are a few other events on. a big first are the return of truck drags to Tailem Bend in SA, not to be missed. Never underestimate what you might see at a smaller, regional event either - they often punch well above their weight and youd be amazed at what might be stashed away in a farmers shed, brought out only for the annual local event. Some amazing trucks haul all that gear to a machinery show and we never pass one up if we can help it.
This week feature Bud Angel's International, a beautiful restoration that we saw again last weekend at the Owen Alford Memorial Truck Show at Goomeri - a tiny Queensland town with a huge heart.
Wherever you see trucks this weekend, have a great time and appreciate the efforts gone into making these trucks available to the public.
