Truck Shows This Weekend - July 19th to 20th

We only discovered a couple of weeks ago that there is a Heritage Weekend in Casino in the leadup to the annual truck show. Run by the Show Society and on this weekend, it looks like a big one. Hopefully we will get down there for a look and might be able to add it to our itinerary next year.

Also on this Sunday, the Kingaroy Mochas and Motors. Always a great time with excellent support and a good rollup with a few trucks in the mix. Just 2 hours so don't get there late or you'll miss out! We'll be there with out turn table covers for those who want to see them in person.

This week's cover photo was taken by Desert Dog at the Nanango Power Up show n shine. This beautiful old Road Boss floated in the Case Steam Engine, owned by Steve Hood that displayed there.(pictured below)

HERITAGE WEEKEND - CASINO (Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th)

This looks like a big one in the lead up to Casino truck show and hopefully we'll get there for a look.

  • Vintage everything - tractors, trucks, cars, small engines
  • Tractor pulls and working displays of draft horses, working dogs etc
  • Food & drinks
  • Market stalls
  • Kids activities
  • Show & shine
  • $10 entry, $5 pensioners & youth, kids under 12 free
  • Saturdya 9am to 4pm; Sunday 9am to 1pm

MOTORS & MOCHAS - Kingaroy (Sunday 20th)

Always a good roll up of cars, bikes & trucks, get in early - it doesn't run all day!

  • FREE event - no cost to entrants, no cost to spectators
  • Cars, trucks, bikes, old or new, whatever you're proud of - bring it!
  • Located at the Kingaroy Vintage Machinery Club
  • 9am to 11am
  • Vendor stalls 
  • Desert Dog will be there with Turn table covers and tshirts
